After a 2.5-hour drive, we arrived around 8 o’clock in the evening, shrouded in darkness, at the cozy reception of Les Chambres de Résiwiz. Unfortunately, the temperature had dropped to 4 degrees Celsius, and rain had begun to fall. But despite the weather, we were warmly welcomed into the inviting reception cottage, which also housed a small shop. The comforting scent of a crackling fireplace greeted us, providing a delightful respite from the rain and cold.

We could leave two bags there to be carried up for us, but the rest had to be on our backs.

Unfortunately, we had forgotten to put Chaxx’s light-up collar on, and amidst the darkness, he became nearly invisible. Armed with an umbrella each, we set out on our adventure, expecting a 20-minute walk. However, the reality was much more challenging – despite the layers of clothing, we found ourselves sweating from exertion and struggling to catch our breath in the thin mountain air. Arriving at the top, we were exhausted and soaked, only to be greeted by a long wooden staircase leading down to the cottages, each marked with a name. After descending, we finally found our cottage, named NOUR, and eagerly climbed the steps to explore our temporary home.Nour
