On a golden autumn day, we set out for a stroll through the enchanting, centuries-old forests of Vorselaar. The ancient trees, dressed in warm hues of amber and crimson, shaded the winding paths with a blanket of fallen leaves that crunched softly beneath our feet as we followed winding paths shaded by ancient trees and if you look well enough you saw the nice red mushrooms erasing here heads from under the leaves.
After wandering through this serene landscape, we came to a sight that felt as if we had stepped into a fairytale —the grand and historic Castle de Borrekens. Rising out of its own reflection in a tranquil moat, the castle stood surrounded by mist, as if cloaked in mystery and timeless stories.A breathtaking sight the majestic Castle De Borrekens rising above the fall landscape like something from a storybook. Bathed in the soft light of late afternoon, this medieval stronghold, built by the knights of Rotselaar in the 13th century, seemed to whisper tales of centuries past.
