2025 A Year of Growth, Goals, and Rediscovery

Believe in your dreams They were given to you for a reason.

 

As the year slowly draws to a close, and with just a few hours left until 2025, I find myself reflecting on a year full of both challenges and gratitude for what i have in my live now.

We are healthy, free of discomfort, I still have my parents, and my daughter and I are having a great time together. Every morning when I open my eyes, I am grateful.My father underwent open-heart surgery and emerged stronger than ever, a reminder of the resilience we all carry.

Personally, stepping away from work was a pivotal moment for me—I finally allowed myself to rest and learn that taking time for myself is not only okay, but necessary. The guilt of “me time” melted away as I began setting new goals and discovering a healthier path forward.

As 2025 approaches, I am determined to build on these lessons, reclaim my health, and embrace this new chapter with my daughter and my dreams. Here’s to making 2025 a year of growth, peace, and new beginnings.

Finding Myself Again: My Journey to a Healthier Life in 2025

This past year has been one of transformation and self-reflection. Turning 50 was a milestone I didn’t expect to feel so deeply, especially as my body began to change dramatically with the onset of menopause. My energy, confidence, and even my physical appearance have shifted—not always for the better. Navigating these changes as a single mom has been both humbling and challenging. So my focus has completely shifted inward—to myself and my daughter.

After stepping away from my business and reducing my workweek to three days, I finally have time to prioritize my little girl, who I’ve missed so much during the busy years. This time with her has been a blessing, but losing the identity tied to my career left me adrift. I overate, stopped prioritizing myself, and struggled with a sense of purpose. My body, my habits, and even my mindset weren’t where I wanted them to be.

As we enter 2025, I’m determined to reclaim my health and rediscover who I am. My goal is to lose weight, live healthier, and become the strongest version of myself—not just for me but for my daughter, who deserves the best of me. Meditation, something I never imagined I could do, has become a surprising source of strength and clarity. Alongside this, my new project, FemmVoyage, is helping me reignite my passion and find purpose again.

This year is about rebuilding from the inside out—finding balance amidst the hormonal changes of menopause, nurturing my body, and embracing this new chapter of life. I’ll focus on my health, savor every moment with my daughter, and grow my dreams through FemmVoyage.
