During the festive season, Day and I had the pleasure of visiting De Brabantse Winter, an enchanting indoor winter festival held at the iconic Brabanthallen in Den Bosch, and what an incredible day it was! This winter wonderland is packed with fun activities, festive vibes, and unique experiences that left us with lasting memories.
From ice skating to snow tubing, playing around in a giant snowball, and even catching falling icicles, the Brabant Winter offers something for everyone. Let me take you through everything we did and why you absolutely must visit this magical event.

Skates, Snow, and Smiles
Our visit on First Christmas Day was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the Brabanthallen, we were transported to a sparkling winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, cozy decorations, and the joyful buzz of families and friends enjoying the season.
De Brabantse Winter runs from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, this incredible event offers an array of activities, entertainment, and festive vibes for visitors of all ages.
De Brabantse Winter transformed the Brabanthallen into a cozy winter village, complete with various attractions and festive decorations. Here’s a glimpse into our day:
1.Ice Skating
We began our adventure on the expansive indoor ice rink, touted as the largest in Brabant, spanning three halls. Skate rentals were included, and it was mandatory to wear gloves on the ice.
2.Snow Tubing
Sliding down a snowy slope on inflatable tubes was exhilarating. The speed and thrill made it a memorable highlight.
3.Langlaufen (Cross-Country Skiing)
We strapped on skis and navigated a winding course laid out over brush mats, simulating a cross-country skiing experience.
4.Winter Bumper Cars
Bumping around in ice bumper cars was pure joy. These inflatable vehicles, maneuvered with hand controls, added a unique twist to traditional bumper cars.
5.Mini Golf
The winter-themed mini-golf course, adorned with festive obstacles, provided a fun and challenging experience.
6.Laser Tag
Engaging in a friendly laser tag battle in a specially designed arena was both intense and entertaining.
7.Children’s Activities
For families with young children, there were dedicated areas featuring ball pits, skiing simulations, and games like tic-tac-toe, ensuring fun for the little ones.
8.Live Entertainment
The Winterpodium hosted a variety of performances, from children’s shows in the mornings to live music acts in the evenings, including artists like Gerard Joling and Rolf Sanchez.

•Passe-Partout: Unlimited access throughout the event duration (excluding January 1, 2025).
